Make: ford model: escape xlt year: 2001 miles: 1726xx color: black transmission: automatic for sale is a 2001 ford escape xls. Runs great, and i've never had any problems with it. Original owner had it in wisconsin until 2013. I've (second owner) had it in california (and in between) since then. It is still registered in wi. Exterior is a little rusted on the undercarriage. Small paint chips on the hood. Nothing to detract from the performance. Interior is clean (smoke and pet free) and has a few minor scuffs. Exhaust system was replaced in 2014. Passed smog in mid/late 2014. I average low-twenties mpg. No accident history and a clean title. Comes with two electronic keys (necessary to start it), one key fob, and a standard key. Hoping to sell this weekend, as i'm going out of town.

This car runs great and is a daily driver. I would drive it to chula vista and back to oceanside daily. We have always taken good care of the maintenance. This car has room for six passengers. The center console on the front seat folds into a center seat. Three passengers in the front and three in the back. We have two sets of keys and one wallet key for the future owner. The trunk in this car is huge. The back seats also fold down. The interior has tears, please see pictures. The brakes and oil change recently completed. The car burns a very small amount of oil. Paint is peeling but no rust. Ac intermittently works ( i am pretty sure it is the lever is not fully engaging) but heater works great. Come drive this car and feel the power and how smooth it drives. Maintenance on this car is much cheaper than a new car. We will pay for and complete the smog check before it is sold. Air Conditioning
